The Budget and Resources Management Department (BRMD) is responsible for providing corporate resource planning, analysis, and management services in support of the U. S. Department of Energy's Albuquerque Operations Office (AL). These services are provided consistent with Office of the Chief Financial Officer requirements and initiatives to create a less expensive and more efficient financial management structure. Assigned missions, include the management and stewardship of nuclear weapons, environmental restoration, waste management, research and development, technology transfer, work for others and national energy programs. This responsibility is accomplished through formulation, execution and management of short-term and long-term budgets for AL's assigned missions.
